Interior Designer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Interior Designer who will lead our interior team in our Brisbane office. As we work across a wide range of design disciplines, you will be responsible for designing leading edge, memorable and functional interior spaces for our major projects in the business including space planning, furniture selection, colour schemes, hardware and light fixtures, carpet etc.

You will be required to take responsibility for the development of each design stage of the project, and will often be required to collaborate with other principals in our firm. You will also possess great client skills and be able to present and sell ideas to clients, and work to deliver those ideas into reality.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the design brief and create amazing interiors
  • Prepare required drawings, models, material and other design documents
  • Work closely with firm’s principals on the delivery of various interior design projects.
  • Design of residential, leisure and commercial environments, including hotels, bars, restaurants and conference facilities.
  • Understanding, managing and delivering on client’s briefs and requirements.
  • Plan and estimate budgets for projects.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals to clients.
  • Understand and demonstrate required technical knowledge to minimise risk to health and safety

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in interior design especially for activity based work space planning for hotels and apartments.
  • Proven documentation ability, especially with highly detailed bespoke interiors.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite – required.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp proficiency – preferred
  • Experience in FF&E selection and procurement.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and to multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven and able to use initiative.
  • Working rights to reside and work in Australia
  • Self-driven and able to use initiative.

You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and have a passion for interiors, space planning and architecture, be able to work in a fast paced environment in order to meet client deadlines and the demands of this client driven industry. You will possess knowledge of the current Australian Building Regulations, and have high attention to detail.

Marketing Coordinator

This position is suitable for an all-rounder, and includes aspects of marketing, visual and graphic design, event management and website maintenance. You will possess a creative flair for making business development information exciting and engaging, and ensure that all material are cohesive with the brand guidelines.

You will require an enthusiastic, mature and co-operative attitude to help our experienced architects fulfil their potential, manage the company website, develop the corporate branding, win new project work, update social media platforms, whilst being part of a highly personable team that is continually striving towards creative leadership within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Design, co-ordination and maintenance of all company promotional and brand material
  • Website design and maintenance
  • Social media management (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc.)
  • Preparing and monitoring tenders and capability marketing submissions
  • Assist in developing marketing and communication plans, briefs and new strategies
  • Creation of e-newsletters, brochures, blog writing and presentation slides
  • Event management and general public relations duties
  • General administration/PA skills may be called upon – eg. Fast typing skills, good people skills, phone manner, filing & archiving etc

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in similar marketing role
  • Strong Adobe Suite capabilities (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator)
  • WordPress and HTML experience
  • Proven SEO experience
  • Capacity to work under pressure and to multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Motivated, self-driven and able to use initiative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Architects & Technicians

We are looking for talented architects and CAD technicians with a minimum of 5 years experience who have strong creativity skills; and cutting edge and innovative design flair to join our Brisbane team. This is a unique opportunity to join a creative and collaborative team and work for an award winning Architecture firm.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a diversity of project types and get involved in all stages of a project, from client briefing, concept design to project delivery.
  • Provide support to principals on larger high profile projects.
  • Assist the principals in the day to day operations of the nra-co-lab office.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years local postgraduate experience in Australia in a similar role.
  • Registered architect or eligible for QLD Board registration.
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM/Revit/AutoCAD – required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite experience – preferred.
  • Proven technical, CAD and graphic skills.
  • Experience in producing high quality 3D computer sketch-up rendering/graphics (using Revit, Studio max, Rhino, V-ray) – preferred.
  • Experience in designing & documenting complex building projects.
  • Working knowledge of the NCC, relevant Australian Standards and a working knowledge of the NSW Planning Legislation.
  • Excellent people skills, self-driven and able to use initiative.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
