The new state-of-the-art 90 storey Brisbane Skytower is destined to become Brisbane’s latest landmark apartment building. Brisbane Skytower sets a new benchmark for the design of tall buildings in Brisbane’s central business district.
The entirely new above street level apartment building has been designed by highly awarded architects Noel Robinson Architects (NRA).
The new design was cognisant of the completed stage one below ground-level carpark and base building structure that informed the location for the new above ground structure and core for the new tower design.
Stage one was designed, documented and delivered by Bates Smart Architects. The previous design for the tower included a combined hotel and apartment building on this site which, for various reasons was reworked into one single residential apartment tower by NRA.
The 274 m height of Brisbane Skytower was governed by Pan OPS and OLS requirements set by the operations of the Brisbane Airport Corporation .
Brisbane Skytower incorporates 1135 residential apartments and penthouses with unparalleled panoramic views, and boasts a roof top infinity edge swimming pool, 274 metres above street level. It includes outstanding recreational facilities, a professional gym and health spa as well as an office component on level one and premium ground floor retail tenancies that connect to Mary Lane.
